Yoga, Cupcakes and Coffee

Beautiful crisp morning. Not bone chilling cold, but just enough to keep you from sweating too much. Q made some statements the night before about yoga, stretching and fellowship...so he lived up to it by going through plenty of Warm O Rama


WOR: 25 x SSHs, 15x BACs, 15x Back BACs, WMHs and a Good Morning....promise kept! Kind of.


No time to waste, let's get to work.


Thang 1 - Merkin Jax - Much like Captain Thor, this routine follows a 1:4 ratio. Exercises are Merkins and plank Jacks. Routine: 1 Merkin. 4 plank Jacks. 2 Merkins. 8 plank jacks. Up to 5/20 and then we went back down to 1:4. Great crowd pleaser, OT already grunting...my confidence was growing!


Mosey - down to the "track", bear crawl down the hill to the bottom for....


Thang 2 - Spartans - Sprint the distance of the straightaway and complete 10 merkins at the end. Turn around and sprint back and 10 merkins at the starting line. We did 3-4 rounds of these, at some point Noodle turned it on and found another gear...that man is fast! Squats while we wait for the 6....and mosey.


Politician up the hill.....mosey to basketball courts


Thang 3 basketball court fun - (Can't remember the exact order of these exercises, but we complete all of the below)


1) Jack Webbs - A merkin then 4 air press combination using the 1:4 ratio. Went up to 5:20 and switched to overhead claps instead of air presses until we got to 10:40 ratio or merkins to overhead claps.


2) Vacuum Cleaners - Partner work done in wheelbarrow position. Beginning at side line, wheelbarrow to opposite side line and perform five Derkins, then without getting up, reverse wheelbarrow back to starting line. Switch and let other partner complete it. Then we rinsed and repeated so every partner did it twice!


3) Mucho Leg-o - complete 20 Narrow squats (feet together), 20 regular-stance squats, 20 wide squats, and then 20 jump lunges (1=1). Rinse and repeat a second round.


4) Obama's - In honor of the 44th POTUS, this traveling exercise consisted primarily of a Bear Crawl, but after every 4 hand moves PAX stopped and perform 4 Merkins. (The 4 and 4 for the 44th, in case you needed that explained to you...) Go all the way across the basketball court, then turn around and come back. Rinse and Repeat.


5) Bolt 45s - 15 squats from standing to 45 degrees, 15 squats from 45 degrees down to 90 degrees, 15 jump squats. Rinse and Repeat


Mary - Captain Thors - you know how it goes. Completed them all the way up to 10:40 ratio and finished right on the dot at 0630 so HackFace didn't have to get angry....wait he had already pre-vac'd. Wait, if he pre vac'd how do we have the same number of pax....wait, that is Beans? Beans is here? Apparently, he just mosey'd up at some point to join us. Glad you made it brother!


Moleskin - Don't let the cold weather keep you in bed. Fight off the urge to fartsack and show up. Do it for the man beside you that needs your help. I admittedly, struggle in the winter. I have this battle every year, without fail. Keep EH'ing. Always be trying to give it away.


Prayer Requests - Our brother Spicoli who is likely nearing the end of his battle and so badly needs our prayers. For Shocker and his family as they battle covid.
