AO: Firepit

Pax: Stirrups, Whoopie, Shoota, Shocker, Noble Virus, Delorean, Hoser, Clickbait, Lump, Braddock, Moving on Up, Tuna, Sanctions, Spandex, Jorts, Winger, Hackface, Gig'em, Bartman (QiC)


19 pax chose the DRP and defeated the sweet siren sounds of the fartsack to get better at Firepit. YHC has not Q'd in a bit, so was eagerly anticipating the deafening sounds of MC that would ensue....


And the pax did not disappoint...


Warm-o-rama...consisting of SSH, Mountain Climbers, Good Mornings, BACs & Back BACs and WMH. Cadence count was drowned out by the MC...but still better than OT's cadence count.


The THANG


Very short mosey...literally 30 feet to other side of parking lot for some line work.


Pick a line...bear crawl out, 10 diamond merkins, crawl bear back...bear crawl out 9 diamond merkins, crawl bear back...all the way down to 1 diamond merkin. MC was insane to start...but quieted down around 8 merkins...hmmm, imagine that.


Stay in place...1 round of Jack Webb...1 merkin 4 air presses, 2 merkins 8 air presses...all the way up to 10 merkins 40 air presses. For the most part...MC still stifled...except for Delorean...always finds a way between the full & perfect reps he does to dish it out.


Still not going anywhere...time for 40s...hand release merkins and jump squats. Start with 10 HR merkins & 30 jump squats, then 15 HR merkins and 25 jump squats. Change by 5s till 30 HR merkins and 10 jump squats.


Now we're moving...go to the corner of the parking lot. 5 burpees, sprint long way to next corner, 10 burpees, bear crawl short side, 15 burpees, sprint long side, 20 burpees, bear crawl to starting corner.


Time for a "Fun Run"...long-ish mosey and doing merkins at Q call...starting with 20 merkins, then 19, then 18, 17, etc...


I believe it was Braddock who mentioned Indigenous People run...so let's do it. Admittedly this turned into kind of a shit show. Did this for a couple of merkin cycles...back to normal run. Apparently we missed 15 somewhere in there...so we're doing 15 merkins at the conclusion of the fun run.


Back to launch point for very short Mary...Flutter Kicks 20 IC.


Count-o-rama, name-o-rama, BOM...we out!
