Date: July 20, 2020 AO: Minor Complex 6 Pax: Clickbait, House Arrest, Dukey, Scud Row, Lookout, Licker (QiC) Starting the week off on a beautiful Monday morning ... only 79 degrees when we gathered. We synchronized swatches (that reminds me, I need to sync my Fitbit) and prepared to get going. Small group today (but I don't take it personally). Will have to modify a couple of the plans I had for the workout, but no worries - we'll have fun. Time to circle
up for some warm-o-rama ... Warm-o-rama: 20 Side Straddle Hops IC, 10 slow ass merkins IC, Willie Mays Hayes OYO, Good Mornings OYO and 20 Climbers Montaña IC, now let's get after it ... The Thang: Let's mosey! Without delay, we soaked our feet in the dewey morning dew (I couldn't think of a better adjective than "dewey"). In the middle of the athletic fields we found ourselves counting, a lot. 100 Lunges, then run to end of field, mosey back ; 200 Squats, run to end of field, mosey back ; 300 Climbers Montaña, run to end of field, mosey back. When complete, continue running until "all in".
At this point, there was some concern that the day may be nothing but a leg day ... well, never fear - we were able to change that up. Let's mosey (stay wet) to the outdoor workout implement area. We got there (got a 10 count from Clickbait to recover) and split into groups of 3. Group 1 had 100 Pull-Ups to complete (cumulative) while Group 2 did 5 Merkins, short run, 10 Merkins, run back to pit 15 Merkins, and so on. Once 100 Pull-ups achieved, switch groups. Let's mosey (stay wet) ... over to the base of a hill that looked ripe for some bear crawl and crab walk activity. Three rounds - bear crawl up, crab walk down - 10 merkins at top of hill, 10 merkins at bottom of hill. We finished this activity with our hands now as wet as our feet (from the dewey dew, of course). Let's mosey (stay wet) ... team Chin-ups. Gotta get 100 Chin-ups in as a team prior to running out of time. We knocked them out quick enough to make another stop on the way back to the beginning.
Let's mosey (stay wet) ... as our soaked shoes are now moistening the ground below us (great observation Clickbait), we make it back to the middle of the athletic fields for our strong finish. We get a 10 count from Dukey to recover and then run to end of fields and all the way back across all fields to arrive at our final destination (oddly enough, our original starting point for the warm-o-rama). We have a couple minutes to get on our six and do some Butterfly stretches and some Flutter Kicks IC. That's it! Count-o-rama, Name-o-rama, Circle-of-trust Moleskin: I love being a part of this group and having the opportunity to lead. The mission of F3 is to enhance male leadership in our communities, and I see it with this group. Thanks to all of you for what you are doing for our community. Let's keep it up and continue to accelerate! Out - Licker
