Jacob's Ladder in Hell

Date: November 1, 2019

AO: Firepit

Pax: Tuna, Gig'em, Lump, Braddock, Waterboy, Wilson, Zamboni, Shoota, Clickbait, Hackface, Hoser, Macaroni, Delorean, Sanctions, Bartman, Oregon Trail

QIC: Braddock

First really cold day of the fall, about 32, clear skies, creepy post-Halloween vibes...16 Pax failed to heed my clear warnings that this would be an unpleasant 45 minutes. Their problem after 5:45 a.m.

Warm-O-Rama consisted of 30X SSH

15X slow ass

20X climbers montaña

That high knees/merkin drop that everyone always wants to argue is a burp thing

Good Morning/WMH combo

The Thang:

Mosey down Fitzgerald Street until the end of civilization, headlamps on cuz it's black as ink

Stop at a pile of rocks for a 3 sets of rock lifting

12X rows/12curls/12 press/12 squats

Mosey down this awful construction road with lots of puddles and potholes to this stinky port-o-let with a bunch of 6x6 wooden beams. Everybody grab one and continue with the mosey into God-knows-what.

Stop for a set of lunches with the beams, then a 10X set of mucho chesto on the beams

Mosey back to this overgrown hillside for 6X Jacob's Ladder in Hell - ascending 1-6 burpees on the muddy road and sprint up the hillside to glory.

Mosey back to the pit for a quick set of Laney Lou, 6-count.

Moleskin:

Hope to see lots of folks out for the qualifier for the Middle Tennessee "who is the hardest MF in F3" competition. I will probably come watch, do some of it because I still can't do crab walks. Sorry to disappoint. But yo I'm old, and as my elder Zamboni said to me after the Q today, "pretty good Q....for an old guy!" So there you have it. Stay hard and let's kick some Nashville/Nolensville/Spring Hill butt!
