Is it called a Circle Jerk?


Welp… it’s that time of the week when all that stands between me and overindulging is a weighted run and an hour-long Q. So, let’s get started.

After grabbing some coffee for coffee-teria I saw 2 runners holding hands as they ran down Hwy96. Great to see Hackface and Clickbait getting in some quality time. I arrived at Armada and promptly notified the PAX that the Franklin PD was on patrol. OT said that’s why he was almost late to the pre-party... get it… because he speeds and gets tickets? Whatever…

Tuna and Swingline headed out for a rucking good time while I waved goodbye and drank my coffee. Shoota, OT, Sanctions, Hackface, Clickbait, and I went for some pre-party fun up to the factory and back barely making it in time to start.

PAX present Me, Hack, Tuna, OT, Shoota, Click, Flava, Sanctions, Swingline, Leotard, House Arrest, Stirrups, Pope, Macaroni… and Braddock! Yep, he came out for his once a month workout and promptly started the MC. Not Bartman...he was definitely not there.

Alright, time to get serious for min.

You guys crushed it and inspired me to push myself today. Every time I wanted to quit I’d look around and see you all stepping up. Thanks for making me a better man.


My faith revolves around living in the present and fully embracing the experience of life. Seneca, a Roman Stoic philosopher said once “The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy, which hangs upon tomorrow and loses today. The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately.” All too often we lose ourselves to expectation. We look forward to events, moments, challenges, etc. and we lose sight of the moment in front of us. My challenge to all of us is this: take a moment today and simply be. When was the last time you simply smiled for no reason? When was the last time you just sat and listened to the breeze? Enjoy a moment today.
