18 PAX for the THANG and 4 for the Pre-Ruck Run. We are back. We are keeping our distance, but we are back and there was a level of excitement in the air.


We circled up into 2 groups for Warm-O-Rama and DeLorean called out our virtual commands to be sure all were ready to accelerate. Fortunately I was at the end of one Circle and within earshot of the second circle so all could hear. The weather was great and we were ready.

Mosey to common lawn behind the park but in front of the restrooms. (Largest field in the park.)

the THANG I

10 Burpees

55 Squats

200 Overhead arm pressers

45 WWII’s - ic

35 Dips in crab walk position

Line up and sprint length of field. 75% sprint on way back with 3 burpees on the word 'down'

THANG II

10 Burpees

30 Jump Squats

Merkin Laney-Lou - All Plank and 5 merks until circle is complete

45 Freddie Mercs - ic

25 Jump Tucks


Line up and sprint length of field - and crab walk back.. about a 1/4 of the way we switched to bear crawl and about 50% we mosey'ed back. Not gonna lie, that field is much longer than what YHC was ready to take on from a bear crawl, crab walk or crawl bear position...


Circle up into 2 groups THANG III

40 Hand release Merks

Merkin Laney Lou - All Plank in your circles and 5 merks until the circle is complete.

35 Carolina Dry Docks

100 Overhead Arm Pressers

Captain Therkins - Captain Thors with 5 merks in between each set of Thors. 1 to 4 ratio of WWII's to hammers ending with 10 WWII's and 40 Hammers.


Line up and Sprint down and crawl bear, bear crawl back... about 50% complete and we mosey'ed back for time purposes.


Circle up again for THANG IV... Leotard EH's passer by and he joins the circle until the end.

10 Burpees

Laney Lou - 5 merks per PAX and all PAX plank until all completed their 5 merks.

50 Jump Squats

100 WWII's - ic

50 J'Lo's - ic

I cannot tell you how good it felt to lead you fine HIM's. I applaud all of you for adapting over the last 9 weeks by participating in virtuals, stepping up and pushing yourself. We will continue to have virtuals for those who are not ready to post yet or have family members in their midst who might be of higher risk. It felt great to lead and I encourage all to sign up for the physical AO's and virtuals. I appreciate you brothers and see you soon.
